Giorgia Zinna

Teacher

Multi - Style Street / Performance class

I've been dancing since I was 2 years old, starting with modern, jazz, ballet, and tap. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to perform in shows and pantomimes, which became a yearly tradition that shaped my love for the stage.

I hold a First Class Honors degree in Physical Education and Dance from the University of Worcester, where I not only deepened my knowledge of dance but also developed my choreography skills as Captain of the Contemporary Competition Team and then going on to be Chair of the Dance Society. After completing my degree, I went on to earn my PGCE in Dance Education from the Royal Academy of Dance with outstanding practice. I decided to stay in London upon graduating and I worked as a self-employed dance teacher, where I had the pleasure of teaching in nurseries, schools, cheerleading programs, adult jazz classes and much more.

In addition to my teaching at SDSD, I'm a full-time Dance Teacher at The Mandeville School and I continue to dance myself as part of a competition team, specializing in street dance, jazz, and contemporary. We have some exciting upcoming competitions around the country, including the Street Dance World Championships.

My journey in dance has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m passionate about sharing that love with my students, whether in the classroom, on stage, or through competition.
