Terms & Conditions

    PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  • All fees are payable the first week of term (or after third trial lesson)

  • Payment package available upon request

  • Late payment £10 admin fee

  • Cheques not accepted

  • BACS and CASH no Admin fee

  • 2  classes per pupil per week 5% discount

  • 3 or more classes per pupil per week 10% discount

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • A registration form must be completed and signed for a place on the register at SDSD.
    This data will be destroyed when a pupil gives notice and officially taken off the regist

  • A full terms notice must be given when withdrawing a pupil from a class OR Half a terms fee will be payable.

        A place in any class at SDSD  has been agreed and accepted on this understanding *excluding Adult classes, Ballet Tots and Mini Groovers.

  • All teachers work to a set timetable, it is unacceptable to expect them to discuss a pupil between classes.

  • All students are required to wear the correct SDSD uniform for the class they are attending

  • No outdoor shoes may be worn in the studio.

  • Acro class must be taken alongside another dance discipline.

  • Hair must be worn in a suitable style for the class attending.

  • The NHS guidelines for illness must be followed.  NHS GUIDELINES

  • Teachers must be made aware of any illnesses if the child is attending class.

  • If there are any changes that need to be made to the scheduled timetable, parents will be notified with as much notice as possible. If a replacement class is offered no refund will be issued if the class cannot be made.

 

  • In adverse weather conditions the safety of Parents / Pupils and teachers travelling to the studio will be assessed and if deemed unsafe SDSD will close the studio. SDSD will do their best to offer an alternative class No refunds will be issued if classes are cancelled under these conditions.

 

  • If for any reason classes cannot run due to conditions out of SDSD’s control, no refunds will be issued. SDSD will do their best to offer an alternative class

 

  • SDSD offer performance opportunities and this may clash with student’s class time. If a student decides to be  involved and this results in missing a class SDSD will do their best to offer an alternative class but no refunds will be given.

  • Waiver: SDSD now include a waiver as part to the registration process. Classes cannot be attended if this is not signed.

  • If we have to move to online classes, timetables may have to alter, no refunds will be issued.

  • You must not attend class if the student or anyone in their household has COVID symptoms.

  • You must follow the government guidelines on isolating and socialising during the current COVID pandemic. 

  • If Studio rules are not adhered to you will be asked to leave SDSD for the safety of the other students at SDSD. NO refund will be issued. 

  • Health form must be returned before your first class or you will not be able to attend class. Link to health and safety form

SDSD must be notified if anything changes

  • Any changes that occur due to the government guideline and laws will be adhered to, therefore changes may need to be made at short notice. This is out of the control of SDSD. If necessary alternative classes will be offered but where they cannot NO refunds will be issued. 

  • SDSD cannot guarantee that we will not be affected by COVID, we can take no responsibility if a child who attends SDSD contracts COVID.
